Simonds Stadium
Simonds Stadium - home of the Cats is one of the largest and most prestigious venues throughout Victoria and is located in Kardinia Park, Geelong. Skilled stadium hosts about 10 Australian Football League games every season, giving Cats fans the chance to barrack for their favourite team on home turf. Around 25,000 people attend each of the games, which are usually televised and broadcast around Australia.

 

Leisurelink
The new $31 million Leisurelink Aquatic & Recreation Centre, on the corner of Princes Highway and Pioneer Road in Waurn Ponds, is now open! Fun for the whole family.

 

Geelong Baseball Centre
Established in 2001, the Geelong Baseball Centre is one of the finest in the Southern Hemisphere. It is recognised as an international standard baseball facility recently used by Japanese Major League Baseball Team, Chiba Lotte Marines as a spring training venue.

 

Geelong Waterfront
At Eastern Beach, sit back and enjoy the bay views from one of the many waterfront restaurants or enjoy a picnic beside the art deco-style pool and promenade. Built in the 1930s, the park and pools have become city landmarks, drawing crowds for more than 70 years.

 

Great Ocean Road
Take a drive along the spectacular world famous Great Ocean Road, which winds alongside the wild and windswept Southern Ocean, from Torquay to Warrnambool. This diverse and dramatic region takes in surf beaches, historic ports, whale lookouts, ship wrecks, waterfalls, breathtaking mountain ranges, rainforests and national parks.

 

Adventure Park
This Caribbean Pirate Adventure will excite family's with non stop waterplay action including splash pools, slides, water cannons, jets & giant tipping water filled buckets!
A treasure chest of water features awaits you on multi-level platforms that brings fantasy to life.

Tigermoth World Torquay
A theme park based around the magical 1930's open-cockpit Tiger Moth bi-plane and a lovingly recreated grass aerodrome which contains a living museum dedicated to the aircraft. Climb aboard one of the Tigers for a tiger flight of a lifetime. And if you dare, turn your life upside down with a choice of mild, wild or "extreme" aerobatics. Or, take an aerial adventure along the "world famous" Great Ocean Road.

 

Beaches
Torquay, Jan Juc and Bells Beach have kilometers of sandy beach catering for all interests.

Golf
For the Golfing enthusiast there are a few courses in the region including Queens Park, Barwon Valley or if your wanting to head down the road there is The Sands and Torquay Golf Clubs.

 

Queenscliff / Sorrento Car & Passenger Ferry
The Queenscliff and Sorrento car and passenger ferries cross southern Port Phillip Bay 24 times a day- on the hour every hour from 7am to 6pm. Enjoy the serenity and watch the dolphins.

 

Surfing & surf lessons – Offshore Surf Tours
All tours offer you a fantastic learn to surf experience, with different boards to cater for all levels of experience. Tours run daily from September through to July.

 

Surfworld
Recognised as the World's largest Surfing- Beach culture Museum, and home to the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame.

 

Surf City Plaza
Embrace the beach lifestyle with the surf shops and factory outlets selling major brands and cafes.

 

The Bellarine Railway
Experience travel in heritage trains on the 1879 railway between Queenscliff and Drysdale on Victoria's beautiful Bellarine Peninsula and enjoy the musical Blues Train.

 

Shopping Centres
You are surrounded by shopping centres with Waurn Ponds shopping centre a 5 minute drive one way or Belmont Plaza a 5 minute drive the other. Or you can drive or catch a bus into the CBD which is 6km away where there is a huge Westfield shopping plaza.

 

Indoor Childrens Play Centre
During the winter months there's nowhere better than taking your littlies to let off a bit of steam in a safe and fun environment. Mums and Dads can relax and watch with a nice hot drink. They also have childrens birthday parties with face painting. For safe and hygienic play please remember to bring your socks.
